Description of Inflorescence and Flower : panicle, inner glumeca. 9 mm long, 5-nerved; lemma ca. 12 mm long and 4 mmbroad, ovate, setaceous, acuminate, striate, 9-nerved, ciliateat the tip; palea ca. 8 mm long, with 2 ciliate keels, 1-nervedon either side of keel, apex bifid; lodicules 3, ca. 2 mm long,ciliate on the margin, 2 are ovate-acute and 5-nerved, thirdone is ovate-obtuse and 1-nerved. Stamens 3, free; antherbasifixed, tip bifid, blunt; filament very short, delicate,twisted. Ovary ca. 1.5 mm long, oblong ovoid, hairy at thebase; Style undivided. Stigma 3, Plumose.
