Culm Sheath Color : culm sheaths 8-15cm long, 5-10cm broad at the base, deciduous, outer surface glabrous, slightly attenuate upwards, rounded at top imperfect blades 10-18cm long, 3.5-5cm broad at the base, erect, wavy oblong - acuminate, base abruptly rounded, glabrous on the outer surface, hairy within, margins smooth, sometimes ciliate; ligule one mm high, entire; auricles 2, small, upto 1cm high, rounded, fringed.

Breadth of Leaf : 1.5-2.5cm
